Catherine Miller, (Creative Assistant/Dancer) a Brooklyn based dance
artist, received her BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts. She has toured extensively in the companies
of Mark Dendy Dance and Theater, Doug Varone and Dancers, Carolyn Dorfman Dance
Company, Shen Wei Dance Arts; performed with independent choreographers Jonah
Bokaer/Chez Bushwick, Fiona Marcotty Dolenga/Hidden Arena, Helen Simoneau and
Dancers, Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects, Ze’eva Cohen & Friends, Sally
Schuilling Dance, Karla Wolfangle; has been a guest artist with the
Metropolitan Opera, Opera Colorado, Minnesota Opera and the Aquila Theatre
Company; and has collaborated with singer/songwriter Matthew Brookshire. As a choreographer, Ms. Miller premiered
several of her own works as an invited artist at the Yard and was a 2005
Brooklyn Community Access Television (BCAT)/Rotunda Gallery multi-media artist
in residence. She was Cofounder and
Director of the Pluck Project in the performance showcase’s inaugural
year. Most recently her work was awarded
an “Emerging Artist Production Grant” by Propel-her Dance Collective, and was
featured in the NYC performance review “The Balancing Act”. Her choreography
has been produced at DTW, Merce Cunningham Studios, the Yard, Context Theatre,
3rd Street Music School, Take a Chance Festival, Steven’s Center,
Purchase College, and NCSA. Ms. Miller
was an Associate Director of Dance at the NC Governor’s School and has
frequently been on summer faculty at NCSA.
In addition, she has taught mini workshops, master classes and set the
works of Mark Dendy and Doug Varone at various institutions including ADF, 92nd
Street Y, U of Maryland, Rutgers, DanceCentre (NC), Dancewave (NYC) and Dance
New Amsterdam (NYC). Ms. Miller is
currently Creative Assistant and principal dancer for Dendy Dancetheater.

Colette Krogol (Principal Dancer) is a native of Miami, Florida. She holds a BFA from The University of Florida and is an alumnus of New World School of the Arts. Ms. Krogol has performed the works of many renowned choreographers including Jose Limon, Paul Taylor, Shapiro and Smith, Helen Tamaris, David Dorfman and Michael Foley. Her choreographic works have been seen at the American College Dance Festival Gala, New Grounds Dance Collective, NWSA, Neta Dance Intensive, American Dance Festival, and Access Theater/NYC. Ms. Krogol was Artist in Residence in Nikiski, Alaska in 2008 and has taught dance workshops and master classes in Kenai, AK, Miami, FL, Gainesville, FL as well as New York City. She has been working with Mark Dendy since 2008 and recently performed in his work “The Preliminary Study for Depth: The Upper Half of High and Low” at the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival. In addition to working with Dendy Dancetheater, Ms. Krogol also dances with Neta Pulvermacher and is the Artistic Director of orange grove dance.
Lonnie Poupard, Jr. Lonnie Poupard, Jr. (Principal Dancer) is from Monroe, MI and received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Western Michigan University. He has performed works by a number of notable choreographers including Trisha Brown, Frank Chaves, and Ron De Jesus. Lonnie was distinguished in New Yorker Magazine as one of the “Ten Best Dance Performances of 2009” for his performance at the Fall for Dance Festival at City Center. He has also worked with Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects, was a featured dancer for the International Motorcycle Show, and played Greg in "A Chorus Line" (Kalamazoo Civic Theatre). Lonnie has been an Artist in Residence at the Yard and Jacob’s Pillow. He is currently principal dancer and composer in residence with Dendy Dancetheater and is thrilled to return to the ADF stages where he first met Mr. Dendy as a student. Lonnie also received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation and holds a private pilot’s license.
Alex Dean Speedie(Principal Dancer) was born and raised in Colorado. He began
dancing at the age of 8 and has extensive training in ballet, modern dance,
ballroom dance, acting, singing, and is also a painter. Speedie currently is on
scholarship at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts where he
has performed in the works of Lar Lubovitch and Anges DeMille. He has been an
Artist in Residence at the Yard. Speedie had his New York City debut at Lincoln
Center performing Dendy Dancetheater’s "The Preliminary Study for Depth:
The Upper Half of High and Low." He has been a principal dancer with Dendy
Dancetheater since 2008.
